Terms & conditions | VEI

Effective as of: January 21, 2026

These terms govern the use of VEI's website and the overarching conditions that apply to our proposals and professional services. By accessing the site or engaging our services you agree to this policy.

1. Scope and acceptance

By using the site or requesting information you confirm that you are of legal age and acting on behalf of an entity with legal capacity. Acceptance occurs when you tick the relevant box, submit a form, or sign a commercial proposal.

2. Services

VEI provides technology consulting, software engineering, artificial intelligence implementation, and complementary digital services. Each engagement is governed by the commercial proposal and Statement of Work that define scope, deliverables, and schedule.

3. Fees and invoicing

Prices stated in proposals exclude taxes unless otherwise noted. Invoicing follows the agreed milestones and payments must be settled within the stated terms. Late payments may result in the suspension of ongoing work until the balance is restored.

4. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep exchanged information confidential and use it solely for the project purposes. This obligation remains in force throughout the engagement and for three years after its completion.

5. Intellectual property

Deliverables created by VEI become the client's property once all outstanding amounts are paid, except for pre-existing components or third-party licences that retain their original terms. VEI may keep code copies for maintenance and compliance purposes.

6. Warranties and liability

VEI warrants that services will be delivered diligently and according to industry best practices. We do not guarantee specific results beyond what is expressly agreed. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by the client during the six months preceding the incident.

7. Changes

VEI may update these terms to reflect legal developments or service enhancements. Updates will be published on this page and will specify their effective date. Continued use after publication implies acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Parties agree to submit any dispute to the courts of Madrid, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply.
