Who provides RetroBounce
RetroBounce (com.vei.retrobounce) is an Android app by Vanguard Edge Intelligence, presented through VEI Solutions. Contact: support@vei.solutions.
App data stays on the device
The app has no account, proprietary backend, ad SDK or analytics SDK. It does not transmit your settings or images to us. Settings and a cropped copy of your chosen image are stored privately on your device. The app does not request Internet permission.
Optional accessibility and overlay
Global mode uses AccessibilityService for interaction events such as touches, clicks, scrolling and window changes, to reset the idle timer. Only the latest activity time is held in memory while enabled. It does not read text or window content, take screenshots, record audio, control apps, or store or transmit the events. Overlay permission lets the animation appear over other apps. Both can be revoked in Android settings. Preview works without them.
Foreground service, notifications and battery
Global mode uses a specialUse foreground service. Its notification lets you open the app or stop the mode; Android 13+ notification visibility depends on your permission choice. Battery settings and keeping the screen awake are optional. Screen timeout applies by default; global sessions last at most ten minutes. Required permission loss stops the service.
Retention, removal and backup
Local data stays until removed, reset, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Removing a custom image deletes the app’s copy, never your original. In the renewed version, backup rules exclude local images, settings and global permission consent from Android backup and device transfer. Older app versions may have allowed system backups controlled by Android and your device settings.
Actions you choose outside the app
Feedback opens your email app and reviews open Google Play, only when you choose those actions. If you email support, we receive your email address and message to respond. Do not send passwords or sensitive files. You can request deletion of support correspondence at support@vei.solutions, subject to applicable retention obligations. Google Play and your email provider handle their services under their own policies.
This website
These pages are hosted on the VEI website, which loads fonts locally. Optional website analytics only load after you accept analytics cookies. See the VEI privacy policy and cookie policy for website processing and consent controls. The Android app does not include an analytics SDK. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary connection data to serve pages; contact support for information about infrastructure logs and retention. Opening Google Play or other external links connects to those services.
Children and updates
RetroBounce is not directed to children under 13. Changes to app behavior will be reflected in this policy. This revision describes RetroBounce 1.3.0.
